- Trace and record the provenance of documentary, digital and testimonial evidence
- Test the authenticity of evidence proportionately, including possible AI-generated or altered material
- Interpret and preserve metadata, and recognise its limits as proof
- Design audit trails that record who did what, when, including AI-assisted steps
- Protect document integrity with version control, hashing, secure storage and chain of custody
- Identify and control the risks of AI-generated evidence and AI-assisted analysis
- Write an evidence management procedure suitable for audits, investigations or assessment
