- Explain the major AI concepts, including machine learning, generative AI, large language models, agents and automation, and their limitations
- Identify realistic AI applications across the RTO student lifecycle and back office
- Evaluate AI opportunities for benefit, cost and risk, including privacy, copyright, confidentiality, assessment authenticity and bias
- Explain how the 2025 Standards for RTOs, ASQA's AI principles and privacy law apply to AI use, including human oversight and recordkeeping
- Assess organisational readiness, evaluate vendors and set implementation priorities
- Prepare an AI opportunity and risk assessment and a 90-day adoption roadmap for an RTO
