Planned learning outcomes

  1. Design an AI governance architecture with clear accountability, board oversight and maturity targets
  2. Analyse the applicability of the EU AI Act, Australian requirements, OECD and UNESCO principles and sector obligations to an AI system
  3. Conduct an AI risk and impact assessment using NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 23894 concepts, and select risk treatments
  4. Explain the structure of an ISO/IEC 42001 AI management system and assess an organisation against it
  5. Plan AI assurance activities, including audit criteria, evidence, testing and independent review
  6. Govern third-party AI and manage AI incidents from detection to corrective action and reporting
  7. Prepare governance reporting and a complete AI governance portfolio for a selected AI system
