  1. Apply audit principles, impartiality and competence requirements to internal audits of an AI management system
  2. Interpret ISO/IEC 42001 clauses and Annex A controls as audit criteria and identify AI-specific evidence
  3. Develop a risk-based AIMS internal audit program
  4. Prepare an audit plan, checklist and sampling approach for an individual audit
  5. Conduct interviews, apply sampling and evaluate evidence to reach supported findings
  6. Write clear findings and an audit report, and verify corrective action and follow-up
